What is your favorite movie from last year?
Mine is Children of Men, based on the P.D. James novel. While James is best known for her mysteries, Children of Men is a near-futuristic tale in which humans have seemingly lost their ability to perpetuate the species. Twenty years have passed without a child being born. When a miracle seemingly occurs, our hero is given a cause he can believe in. Starring Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, and Michael Caine, Children of Men is an intense movie, not necessarily for all tastes, but extremely well done (more info at IMDb).

I loved No Country For Old Men. The cinematography is beautiful, so many shots are a work of art. The acting is brilliant. For kicks, nothing made me laugh harder than Superbad.
