Jean, thanks for the positive feedback!
Where can we drop off books for the Friends of the La Mesa Library?
Heather, donations can be brought in anytime the library is open (hours are posted near the top of this page), and they can be given to any staff person.
Thank you!

Hello,
I just recently moved to this area and was looking for a nice and quiet space to do my reviewing. I would like to know whether I have to pay or apply for membership at your fine library in order for me to go their and review.
Thank You
I’ve noticed there is no longer a link for the catalog? Can you advise..how I find the library catalog to request books or check availability?
thanks!
Thanks so much for your comment. I will work on getting a catalog link set up. For now, you can go to http://www.sdcl.org to do a catalog search. Please contact me at the library if you have any more questions.
Jessie
I can’t find on the web site whether the library has wireless internet access throughout the facility. Does it?
If not, are there computers that can be accessed there?
Note: the terms “wireless” and “computers” brought up nothing on the library’s web site . Also when I tired to call to talk to a person and pressed “03″ during normal business hours I just was sent back to the recording. Is there another way to get to a “live” person?
Thanks.
Thanks so much for your question. We do have wireless Internet access throughout the building, as well as computer terminals that may be reserved throughout the day. I’m sorry you weren’t able to get through on the phone–sometimes during our busiest times all lines are busy. Please try us again at 619-469-2151 if you have any other questions.
it would REALLY help if you had a link to order the books online from here
What is the fee to be able to have a library card to check out books? It is not listed anywhere on the site that I can find, thank you!
There is no fee to get a library card if you have not yet had one. There is one Free replacement card and after that it is $2.00 per replaced card.
Great site and very informative!
Daniel, Thanks so much for the positive feedback!
